Q) Does the student have to give any entrance examination for admission ?

A) No. The student does not have to give or appear in any entrance examination.

Q) What is the eligibility criteria for getting admission ?

A) For “General Category” students, they should have minimum 50% marks in PCB i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology in 12th standard. For “SC / ST / OBC Category”, students should have minimum 40% marks in PCB.

Q) Is qualifying NEET compulsory to take admission abroad ?

A) Yes ! The student must be qualified in NEET in the year he/she wishes to study MBBS abroad or in any of the previous 2 years. To to able to appear in MCI Screening test/FMGE/NeXT & get permanent registration to practice in India, this is compulsory. Students who do not wish to work in India after MBBS from abroad can take admission without NEET eligibility.

Q) What is the age criteria for admission ?

A) The student should complete minimum 17 years by 31st December of the year he is seeking admission.

Q) What is the medium of instruction ?

A) The medium of instruction is English but the students are also taught language of the country they take admission in. It helps them in communicating with the local citizens of that country.

Q) What is the duration of MBBS course ?

A) The duration of course is 6 years and at some places it is 5 years. This completely depends on the rules of each country.

Q) How can I get an education loan ?

A) This entirely depends on a student’s and his family background. They need to visit their nearest bank to check their eligibility for getting a loan sanctioned.

Q) When do the classes start ?

A) The classes officially start in the 1st week of September, but it depends on university to university.

Q) Does the student have to appear for Visa interview for getting Visa ?

A) No. Students don’t have to appear for any of interview process as this process is completely facilitated by our counselors/officials.

Q) How is the university fee paid ?

A) Students are required to pay fee in cash after arrival in respective countries and this process is facilitated by us in co-ordination with university.

Q) When do the students get vacations for returning home ?

A) Vacations are granted twice a year in all universities i.e. January Winter Vacations (Approx. 15 Days) & June – July Summer Vacations (Approx. 2 Months). Students return to their homes during summer vacations generally.

Q) Can students earn or do any part-time job while studying ?

A) No. Students are sent on “Student Visa” which does not allow them to work and it is illegal too.

Q) Whom to contact if student faces any problem while staying there ?

A) The universities have a separate “International Students Department” to help foreign students in all ways. Additionally, we are always present to help out students in such cases.

Q) What to do if student falls ill ?

A) All students are given “Medical Insurance” every year which covers all expenses if they fall ill and is renewed every year.

Q) What are the monthly expenses ?

A) The average monthly expenses that students spend is USD 80 – USD 100. But this figure completely depends on student’s personal lifestyle.

Q) How can parents send money to students ?

A) All students are advised to carry “International Debit Card” with themselves for withdrawing money that their parents send from their home country.

Q) What does contract signing with university mean ?

A) Universities sign contract with students to ensure students that their fee will remain same and unchanged for their complete duration of education.

Q) Will the university refund paid fee if student decides to return back due to some reason ?

A) No. Once the student is enrolled, university can not refund any amount as a seat goes wasted already due to that student.

Q) Can internship be done after completion of course ?

A) Yes. The students undergo internship after successfully clearing “MCI Screening Test”.

Q) Can I practice in my country after completion of course ?

A) Yes. After clearing “MCI Screening Test” students can practice as regular MBBS doctors.

Q) What if I do not clear "MCI Screening Test" in 1st attempt ?

A) “MCI Screening Test” is conducted twice each year i.e. March & September and it gives unlimited attempts to all students for appearing till they clear it.

Q) Can I get government job after completion of course ?

A) Yes. Once “MCI Screening Test” is cleared, they can work in government as well as private hospitals and even open their own clinics.
